NETWORK SUPPORT
The support of network devices can include the following services:
- Out of band monitoring and management of network equipment for security reasons to prevent management access to devices
- Fault management of devices through monitoring, root cause analysis and repair
- Measure and analyze device availability and performance on pre-defined scenarios.
- Ongoing support of the existing infrastructure within the scope of the SLA and/or client’s SLA with the manufacturer
- Apply appropriate patches and updates as received from the client and/or client’s SLA with the manufacturer
- Defining rule basis and restriction rules for firewalls and proxies (excluding analyzing of logs)
- Analyzing and recommendations of firewall logs will be quoted separately
- Management of all changes required on the local networking hardware including switches, routers and Wi-Fi Access Points. Network changes will follow a change control process (CC) in the environment to ensure proper planning is in place with each change to ensure availability.
